    Richard III (1955)

Please notify me when this poster is available:

    • This is an original, Argentinian movie poster from 1957 for Richard III starring John Gielgud, Claire Bloom, Ralph Richardson, Alec Clunes, Cedric Hardwicke, Stanley Baker, and Laurence Olivier. Laurence Olivier also directed the film based on the play by William Shakespeare.

The poster measures 29" x 43.75" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to linen-backing with creases along the white borders from previous framing and some minor fold and edge wear. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.

This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1957 to promote the the initial, Argentine theatrical release of Richard III, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
