This is an original, Spanish language one-sheet movie poster from 1967 for The Sand Pebbles starring Steve McQueen, Richard Attenborough, Richard Crenna, Candice Bergen, Marayat Andriane, Mako, and Simon Oakland. Robert Wise directed the naval drama. Howard Terpning is the artist for the poster.
The poster was printed in the United States for use in theaters with Spanish-speaking audiences. It measures 27”x41” and is in very good condition with light surface creasing and minimal edge wear from handling. It was tri-folded at the time of printing without a vertical fold down the middle. There is some faint ink transfer from the bottom-third of the poster to the light area of the top-third of the poster. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
