This is an original Italian two-panel movie poster from 1988 for Ran starring Tatsuya Nakadai, Akira Terao, Jinpachi Nezu, Daisuke Ryu, and Mieko Harada. Akira Kurosawa directed the Japanese/French film based on Shakespeare's King Lear.Referred to in Italy as a 4 Fogli, the poster was printed in two sections that overlap and measures 55” x 78”. The poster is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from handling. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
