This is an original, French grande theatrical movie poster from 1988 for The Big Blue (released in France as Le Grand Bleu) starring Rosanna Arquette, Jean-Marc Barr, Jean Reno, Paul Shenar, Sergio Castellitto, Marc Duret, Andreas Voutsinas, Valentina Vargas, and Griffin Dunne. Luc Besson directed the film. The film was released in May 1988 and later released with a longer, director's cut of the film at the end of the year. This poster is from the director's cut release.
The poster measures 45.5” x 61.5” and is in excellent condition with minimal wear from long-term storage. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
