Julia (1977)

This is an original, Polish theatrical movie poster from 1979 for the initial release of Julia starring Jane Fonda, Vanessa Redgrave, Jason Robards Jr., Hal Holbrook, Rosemary Murphy, Maximilian Schell, and Meryl Streep.  Fred Zinnemann directed the biographical drama based on the life of Lillian Hellman.  Hanna Bodnar is the artist for the poster.

The poster measures 26.5” x 38.25” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in good condition prior to restoration with pinholes from theatrical display, a horizontal crease on the upper-right corner, and some scattered creases and scuffs from handling.  It was folded at the time of printing and had an extra horizontal fold at the top and bottom.   The bottom verical fold had some small paper loss prior to restoration.
