This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1949 for Edward, My Son starring Spencer Tracy, Deborah Kerr, Ian Hunter, Leueen MacGrath, James Donald, Mervyn Johns, and Harriette Johns. George Cukor directed the drama based on the play by Robert Morley and Noel Langley.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to linen-backing the poster was in good to very good condition with wear and tiny separations on parts of the folds and cross-folds. The poster was was backed in the European style without any restoration. The restorer also did not leave any excess linen border for framing.
