This is an original, rolled, one-sheet movie poster from 1980 for a theatrical re-release of Bananas starring Woody Allen and Louise Lasser, Howard Cosell, Danny DeVito and Sylvester Stallone. Woody Allen also directed the comedy film. The poster art is by famous cartoonist Jack Davis who helped create Mad Magazine.
The international poster was printed in the United States for use in theaters outside the country. It measures 27"x 41" and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal edge wear and few, light smudges on the bottom-right edge. Unlike most one-sheet posters from this period, it has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1980 to promote a theatrical re-release of Bananas, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
