Size: 14.25” x 28.25”This is an original Argentine movie poster from 1928 for Coney Island starring Lois Wilson, Lucielle Mendez, Eugene Strong and Gus Leonard. Ralph Ince directed the silent drama. The film was released with the title En La Isla de los Placeres (On the Island of Pleasures) in Argentina. The tagline at the bottom of the poster translates as "Coney Island, emporium of laughter and oblivion where New York overcomes all their sorrows, lives in its intimate, scenes of pain and tragedy."
The poster measures 14.25” x 28.25” and is in good to very good condition with some areas of foxing (discoloration) mostly along the top edge of the poster. The poster was folded at the time of printing. There is a small amount of separation in the upper right edge of the upper horizontal fold. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
