Country: Japan
Exact Size: 14.75" x 20.5"

This is an extremely rare, unfolded Japanese movie poster from 1935 for Ekstase (released in the U.S.  as "Ecstasy") starring Hedy Lamarr (billed under her real name Hedy Kiesler), Aribert Dog, Zvonimir Rogoz, Leopold Kramer, Emil Jerman and Pierre Nay. Gustav Machaty directed the Czechoslovakian/Austrian drama.  Also released as Symphonie der Liebe (or Symphony of Love), the movie was controversial due to female nudity and portrayals of sexual situations.   Ecstasy was not released in the United States for eight years and the subsequent release was very limited. Some states banned the film.

The B3-size poster measures 14.75" x 20.5".  It has never been folded and is in very good condition with some edge wear.

Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying).  This collectible poster,  printed in 1935 for the Japanese release of Ecstasy, is not a reproduction or a reprint.

Please note the small black circles on the corners of the poster are magnets and are not pins.
