Gimme Shelter (1970)

1 available
  • Film: Gimme Shelter (1970)
    Year poster printed: 1970
    Country: United States
    Size: 27 in x 41 in (69 cm x 104 cm)

This is a original one-sheet movie poster from 1970 for Gimme Shelter. The infamous Altamont concert documentary features The Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Ike and Tina Turner, The Grateful Dead, and Dick Carter. Charlotte Zwerin, Albert Maysles, and David Maysles directed the film.

The film had a limited release in December 1970 and opened in more theaters in early 1971. The poster measures 27" x 41” and is in very good condition with minor edge and fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. There is a tiny separation at the bottom cross-fold.

Please look closely at the photo (this is the actual poster you will receive). It is not a stock image.

This rare and collectible poster, printed in late 1970 to promote the theatrical release of Gimme Shelter, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
