(plus small linen border)This is an original, linen-backed one-sheet movie poster from 1919 for Mistaken Identity starring Anita King, Gordon Sackville, Barney Oldfield, and Henry Grey. The director of the silent film is unknown.
The stone-lithograph poster was printed in 1919 in advance of the summer release of the film. It measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display.
Prior to linen-backing the poster was in very good condition with minor to moderate fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
