This is an original, Italian 2 Fogli theatrical movie poster from 1960 for a re-release of On the Waterfront starring Marlon Brando, Karl Malden, Lee J. Cobb, Rod Steiger, Pat Henning and Eva Marie Saint. Elia Kazan directed the classic film. Luigi Martinati is the artist for the poster.
The one-panel poster measures 39" x 55" and is in very good condition with minor edge wear and two small areas of fold separation at the right edge. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying and not a stock photo). The small black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1960 to promote an Italian theatrical re-release of On the Waterfront, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
