This is an original one-sheet movie poster from 1946 for a theatrical re-release of Rainbow on the River. The film was retitled It Happened in New Orleans for this re-release. The musical comedy stars May Robson, Charles Butterworth, Louise Beavers, Alan Mowbray and Henry O'Neill. Kurt Neumann directed the film.
The poster measures 27"x 41" and is in very good condition. It has single pinholes in each corner from theatrical display. Like most one-sheet posters printed before 1990, this poster was folded before being shipped to a movie theater. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
