This is an original, Japanese B2 movie poster from 1978 for the initial Japanese release of Star Wars. The science fiction classic stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guinness, James Earl Jones, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker. George Lucas directed the film. The art for the poster was done by Seito.
The poster measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" and is in good to very good condition with minor edge wear. The poster was tri-folded at the time of printing (it has no vertical fold). There are a few pinholes from theatrical display. Someone previously used tiny pieces of tape to repair them from the back and then touched them up with black ink on front. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
