This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1974 for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre starring Marilyn Burns, Paul A. Partain, Edwin Neal, Jim Siedow, Gunnar Hansen, John Larroquette and Allen Danziger. Tobe Hooper directed the cult-classic horror film.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with minor edge and fold wear from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after backing. The poster is now in excellent, restored condition. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1974 to promote the initial. theatrical release of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
