This is an original, rolled, French theatrical movie poster from 1962 for the initial release of The Hustler starring Paul Newman, Jackie Gleason, Piper Laurie, George C. Scott, Myron McCormick, Murray Hamilton, Vincent Gardenia and Jake La Motta. Robert Rossen directed the classic film. Boris Grinsson is the artist for the poster.
The petite poster measures 17.75" x 22" and is in very good condition with some light discoloration along the top, white border and a small area of paper loss along the lower-left white edge. Unlike most French petite movie posters, it has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1961 to promote the initial, French theatrical release of The Hustler, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
