This is an original Italian two-panel movie poster from 1975 for The Yakuza starring Robert Mitchum, Ken Takakura, Brian Keith, Herb Edelman, Richard Jordan, Keiko Kishi, Eiji Okada, James Shigeta, Kyosuke Mashida, and Robert Towne. Sydney Pollack directed the martial arts crime drama.
Referred to in Italy as a 4 Fogli, the poster was printed in two sections that overlap and measures 55” x 78”. The poster is in very good condition. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. Some of the fold-lines have darkened with age and there's a pinhole separation at one of the cross-folds. There is some writing on the back of the poster that is slightly visible from the front.Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). This collectible poster, printed in 1975 to promote the Italian theatrical release of The Yakuza, is not a reprint or a reproduction.
