Godfather (1972)

This is an original, French four panel theatrical movie poster from 1972 for The Godfather starring Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire and John Cazale. Francis Ford Coppola directed the Academy Award-winning film based on the book by Mario Puzo. S. Neil Fujita is the artist for the poster.

The billboard-style poster measures 91" x 123" (about 8 feet wide by 10 feet tall) and was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap.  It is in very good condition with some scattered edge wear and creasing.  There are some scattered staple holes from theatrical display and a tiny bit of paper loss and tape residue on the bottom edge. There is a small, circular spot of discoloration from exposure to moisture on the bottom-right panel.  The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
