This is an original, rolled, one-sheet movie poster from 1984 for the U.S. theatrical release of Irezumi: Spirit of Tattoo (Sekka tomurai zashi) starring Masayo Utsunomiya, Tomisaburo Wakayama, Yusuke Takita, Harue Kyo, and Masaki Kyomoto. Yoichi Takabayashi directed the Japanese tattoo romantic thriller.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal creasing on the left, white edge from handling and storage. Unlike most one-sheet posters from this era, it has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photo as it is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares on the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1984 to promote the limited, U.S. theatrical release of Irezumi, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
