This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1931 for Alexander Hamilton starring George Arliss, Doris Kenyon, June Collyer, Dudley Digges, Montagu Love, and Alan Mowbray. John G. Adolfi directed historical, post-Revolutionary war biography based on a play by George Arliss and Mary Hamlin.
The Style A poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with a few surface smudges, a tiny bit of paper loss at the bottom cross-fold, and minimal wear and darkening on parts of the other folds. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
