This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1968 for Planet of the Apes starring Charlton Heston, Roddy McDowall, Maurice Evans, Kim Hunter, James Whitmore and Linda Harrison. Franklin J. Schaffner directed the classic science fiction film.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in very good condition prior to restoration with pinholes from theatrical display and minor edge, fold and surface wear. It was was folded at the time of printing. The fold lines are barely noticeable after restoration. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
