This is an original, linen-backed, theatrical movie poster from 1959 for the initial release of The Ten Commandments (1956) in Spain. The film stars Charlton Heston, Yul Brynner, Anne Baxter, Edward G. Robinson, Vincent Price, and John Carradine. Cecil B. DeMille directed the classic movie. Fernando Albericio is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 27.75" x 39.25" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with pinholes around the edges from theatrical display and minor fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. The excess linen was trimmed away at some point (likely to allow the poster to fit into a frame).
