This is an original, French double grande, two-panel theatrical movie poster from 1977 for Star Wars starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guinness, James Earl Jones, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker. George Lucas directed the film. Tom Jung and Rene Ferracci are the artists for the poster.
The poster measures 58.75” x 78.5” and was printed in two sections designed to overlap. It is in very good to excellent condition with some pinholes along the edges from theatrical display and a tiny film censor stamp at the bottom-center of the poster. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying and not a stock image). The black squares around the edges the poster are magnets and not pins.
