This is an original, rolled, linen-backed half-sheet movie poster from 1955 for the initial theatrical release of Walt Disney's Lady and the Tramp. The classic film features the voices of Peggy Lee, Barbara Luddy, Larry Roberts, Bill Thompson, Bill Baucom, and Stan Freberg. Clyde Geronimi and Wilfred Jackson directed the animated film based on the novel by Ward Greene.The half-sheet poster measures 22"x 28" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Unlike most half-sheet posters from this era, it has never been folded. The poster was in very good condition prior to linen-backing with minor edge wear and creasing. It had a tiny tear around the center of the poster.
