    2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

    • This is an original, Yugoslavian theatrical movie poster from 1968 for 2001: A Space Odyssey starring Gary Lockwood, Keir Dullea, William Sylvester, Daniel Richter, Leonard Rossiter, Robert Beatty and Douglas Rain. Stanley Kubrick directed the classic science fiction film.  Bob McCall is the artist for the poster.

The Cinerama poster measures 18.75” x 27” and is in good to very good condition with a few tiny tears on the white edges from handing and a very small, v-shaped tear near the bottom of the upper-right corner.  There are a few stickers and some writing on the back of the poster at that barely bleeds through to the front near the center.  It was folded at the time of printing and has minor fold wear. The poster has been stored flat for many years and it will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.

This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1968 to promote the initial, Yugoslavian theatrical release of 2001: A Space Odyssey, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
