This is an original, rolled, one-sheet movie poster from 1984 for The Cotton Club starring Richard Gere, Gregory Hines, Diane Lane, Bob Hoskins, Nicolas Cage, Laurence Fishburne, Tom Waits, Jennifer Grey and Mario Van Peebles. Francis Ford Coppola directed the film. Michael Marcus is the artist for the poster.
The international style poster was printed in the United States for use in theaters outside the country. It features different (and much more attractive) art than the poster used within the United States. It measures 26" x 39.5" (it has not been trimmed) and is in good to very good condition with some wear along the outer edges of the poster and some minor creasing at the top of the poster. Unlike most theatrical one-sheets from this period, this poster has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
