This is an original, French eight panel movie poster from 1987 for Full Metal Jacket starring Matthew Modine, Vincent D'Onofrio, R. Lee Ermey and Adam Baldwin. Stanley Kubrick directed the Vietnam war film. Philip Castle is the artist for the poster.
The billboard-style poster measures 118” x 157” (approximately 10 feet by 13 feet) and was printed in eight sections designed to overlap. The poster was never used and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from handling. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
