This is an original, Argentinean theatrical movie poster from 1981 for the initial release of All Quiet on the Western Front (1979) starring Richard Thomas, Ernest Borgnine, Donald Pleasence, Ian Holm, and Patricia Neal. Delbert Mann directed the World War I film that was originally "made for tv" but subsequently released theatrically outside the United States.
The poster measures 28.75" x 42.75" and is in very good condition. Someone once wrote "P 266" in pen just above the main title and there are two very faint spots of discoloration next to the writing from previous exposure to moisture. The was folded at the time of printing and there is a pinhole separation at the top cross-fold and minor wear/creasing along some of the folds from long-term storage. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1981 to promote the Argentinean theatrical release of All Quiet on the Western Front (1979), is not a reproduction or a reprint.
