This is an original, international one-sheet movie poster from 1987 for Spaceballs starring Mel Brooks, Bill Pullman, Rick Moranis, John Candy, Daphne Zuniga, Dick Van Patten and Joan Rivers. Mel Brooks directed the Star Wars spoof comedy. John Alvin is the artist for the poster.
The poster is an extremely rare, alternate-style one sheet that was distributed internationally in very small numbers. It was printed in the United States for use in theaters outside the country. It measures 27” x 40” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from handling and storage. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
