This is an original, one-sheet movie poster from 1968 for 2001: A Space Odyssey. The science fiction classic stars Gary Lockwood, Keir Dullea, William Sylvester, Daniel Richter, Leonard Rossiter, Robert Beatty and Douglas Rain. Stanley Kubrick directed the film. Bob McCall is the artist for the poster.
The style B poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to linen-backing the poster was in very good condition with minor fold wear from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
