Spaceballs (1987)

This is an original, international one-sheet movie poster from 1987 for Spaceballs starring Mel Brooks, Bill Pullman, Rick Moranis, John Candy, Daphne Zuniga, Dick Van Patten and Joan Rivers. Mel Brooks directed the Star Wars spoof comedy.  John Alvin is the artist for the poster.

The poster was printed in the United States for use in theaters outside the country.  It features the same main artwork as the domestic one-sheet but has a comedic tag line at the top and a yellow title.  The poster  measures 27” x 40” and is in very good to excellent condition.  It was folded at the time of printing and has minimal fold wear from long-term storage.  Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
