Strange Brew (1983)

This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1983 for Strange Brew starring Dave Thomas, Rick Moranis, Max von Sydow, Paul Dooley, Lynne Griffin, and Angus MacInnes. Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas directed the comedy based on characters they created for SCTV.  John Solie is the artist for the poster.

The poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display.  The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration.  It was folded at the time of printing and had some fine, surface paper loss on some of the folds which is common with higher gloss posters from the early 1980s.  The fold lines were touched up nicely during restoration and the poster displays beautifully.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
