This is an original, English three sheet theatrical movie poster from 1972 for Lady Sings the Blues starring Diana Ross, Billy Dee Williams, James T. Callahan, Paul Hampton, and Isabel Sanford. Sidney J. Furie directed the musical biography about Billie Holiday. Frank Frezzo and John LeProvost are the artists for the poster.
The poster measures 41” x 85” and was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. It is in very good to excellent condition with minimal edge and fold wear from storage and handling. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
