From Here to Eternity (1953)

This is an original, linen-backed, French petite theatrical movie poster from 1954 for the initial release of From Here to Eternity starring Burt Lancaster, Montgomery Clift, Deborah Kerr, Frank Sinatra, Donna Reed, Ernest Borgnine and George Reeves. Fred Zinnemann directed the classic World War II film.  Rene Peron is the artist for the poster.

The poster measures 12.25" x 18.5" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with single pinholes in the corners from theatrical display.  It was folded in half at the time of printing and was once folded again resulting in a second, vertical fold just to the left of the middle fold.  The folds are less noticeable after backing but they were not significantly touched up during restoration. 

Please look very closely at the photos as this is the exact poster you are buying.  It is not a stock image.  The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
