Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)

This is an original, Italian 2 fogli theatrical movie poster from 1981 for Raiders of the Lost Ark starring Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Paul Freeman, John Rhys-Davis and Denholm Elliott. Steven Spielberg directed the classic adventure film that began the Indiana Jones franchise.  Drew Struzan is the artist for the poster.

This poster is from the initial, October 1981 theatrical release in Italy.  The poster features "The Return of Great Adventure" tagline (in Italian) which was later used for the 1982 theatrical re-release in the United States.  This tagline was first used for the initial, Italian theatrical release. 

The poster measures 39" x 55" and is in very good condition with pinholes in the corners from theatrical display.  It was folded at the time of printing and has minimal fold wear from previous handling and storage. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.

Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image.  The black squares on the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
