This is an original, German A0 theatrical movie poster from 1970 for the initial release of A Boy Named Charlie Brown featuring the voices of Peter Robbins (as Charlie Brown), Bill Melendez (as Snoopy), Glenn Gilger (as Linus), Erin Sullivan (as Sally), Andy Pforsich (as Schroeder), Pamelyn Ferdin (as Lucy), Lynda Mendelson (as Frieda), and Christopher DeFaria (as Pig Pen). Bill Melendez also directed the animated film and Charles Schulz, creator of the Peanuts comic strip, is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 33” x 47” and is in very good to excellent, unused condition with minimal creasing from long-term storage. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage and collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1970 to promote the German theatrical release of A Boy Named Charlie Brown, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
