This is an original, linen-backed, six-sheet movie poster from 1960 for H.G. Wells' The Time Machine starring Rod Taylor, Alan Young, Yvette Mimieux, Sebastian Cabot, Tom Helmore, and Paul Frees. George Pal directed the science-fiction thriller based on the novel by H.G. Wells. Reynold Brown is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 81" x 81" and was printed in four sections designed to overlap. It has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display and all the sections are together. Prior to backing and restoration, the poster was in good to very good condition with some wear , creases, and tiny tears along some of the fold-lines. There are some faint smudges and stains on parts of the top edges of the poster.
