This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1956 for Alfred Hitchcock's The Wrong Man starring Henry Fonda, Vera Miles, Anthony Quayle, Harold Stone, John Heldabrand, Charles Cooper and Esther Minciotti. Alfred Hitchcock directed the classic, New York crime-thriller based on a true story.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in very good condition prior to linen-backing with pinholes in the corners from theatrical display and wear and creasing along some of the fold lines. The poster was folded at the time of printing but the folds are greatly minimized after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in late 1956 for the January 1957 theatrical release of The Wrong Man, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
