This is an original one-sheet movie poster from 1979 for the PG release of Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta, Karen Lynn Gorney, Barry Miller, Joseph Cali, Paul Pape and Donna Pescow. John Badham directed the classic New York City drama set during the height of disco. The film was initially released in December 1977 with an R-rating. The film was re-edited a year later for release with a PG rating. This poster is from the March 1979 release of the film.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and is in very good condition with minor fold wear. Like most one-sheet posters printed before 1990, this poster was folded before being shipped to a movie theater. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
