No. In the United States, all one sheet posters were single-sided until about 1990. Movie theaters began using backlit poster displays and, within a few years, many one sheet posters were double-sided. However, a number of theaters did/do not use backlit displays and single-sided one sheet posters are still printed today by the studios. Every single-sided poster we sell is authentic.
There are a number of ways to tell if a poster is a theatrical, authentic poster or a commercial reprint ranging from the size of a poster to paper type and printing quality. Commercially printed (and licensed) reprints of movie posters have their place as an affordable way to see classic artwork without having any collectible value. There are many stores that sell commercial reprints and we are happy to make referrals.
The flip side of reproductions are bootlegged or fake posters offered as originals. Most posters have not been bootlegged because they are not highly sought after by collectors. But there are several posters that have, and continue to be, reproduced and offered to buyers as originals. We spend considerable time making sure that each and every poster we sell is original.

We do not sell frames at this time. It is extremely risky to place a collectible poster inside a frame and then ship it. Even if well packed, there is risk of damage to the frame during shipping that may cause significant damage to the poster inside.

We charge tax to customers in Washington State and collect VAT in the United Kingdom (for orders under 135 GBP) as required to by law. We do not collect tax for any other places at this time.
Privacy and Security
We truly value your privacy and will never sell our customer information and, unlike most stores, we do not automatically add customers to our email list. We will not spam you or give your information to folks who will.
Limited information is shared to facilitate payments through trusted, third party sites (like Paypal, Amazon Payments, Apple Pay, Stripe) that handle secure credit card and payment transactions (just as with any online transaction). This is spelled out in our privacy policy.
