Godfather (1972)

This is an original, English three-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1972 for The Godfather starring Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire and John Cazale. Francis Ford Coppola directed the Academy Award-winning film based on the book by Mario Puzo. S. Neil Fujita is the artist for the poster.

The poster was displayed by a theater in the Netherlands and has a small, Dutch censor stamp on the top-right corner.  It measures 40" x 79.75" (it has not been trimmed) and was printed in two sections designed to overlap.  It is in very good condition with some tiny staple holes on parts of the outer edges from theatrical display.  It was folded at the time of printing and has minor wear/creasing along some of the folds from long-term storage.  Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.

Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image.  The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
