This is an original, Japanese B3 theatrical movie poster from 1970 for Woodstock featuring performances by Jimi Hendrix, Joan Baez, Joe Cocker, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Richie Havens, Santana, The Who, Country Joe & the Fish, Arlo Guthrie and Sly & the Family Stone. Michael Wadleigh directed the film.
The Nazakuri style poster features the title of the film in Japanese and English in the background. The words "Sit on" are printed at the center with "Please Sit Here" written below in Japanese. It measures 14.25” x 20.25” and is in very good to excellent condition with a few minor creases from previous handling. The poster was folded in half at the time of printing but it has been stored flat for many years. It will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
