Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953)

This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1953 for Gentlemen Prefer Blondes starring Jane Russell, Marilyn Monroe, Charles Coburn, Elliot Reid, Tommy Noonan, George Winslow, Marcel Dalio, and Taylor Holmes.  Howard Hawks directed the classic, romantic musical comedy. 

The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in very good condition.   It was folded at the time of printing and had minor wear and small separations at folds and cross-folds.  The fold lines are less noticeable after restoration.  Someone previously  trimmed away most of the excess linen border (most likely to accomodate framing).
