Great Escape (1963)

This is an original Yugoslavian, theatrical movie poster from 1963 for The Great Escape starring Steve McQueen, James Garner, Richard Attenborough, James Donald, Charles Bronson, Donald Pleasence, and James Coburn. John Sturges directed the classic, World War II military prison escape thriller.  Frank McCarthy is the artist for the poster.

The poster measures 19.5” x 27.25” and is in very good condition with some areas of creasing along parts of the edges from handling and storage.  It was folded at the time of printing.  The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying).  It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
