Artist: Toimi KiviharjuThis is an original, rolled, Finnish poster from 1954 for a theatrical re-release of The Great Waltz starring Luise Rainer, Fernand Gravet, Miliza Korjus, Hugh Herbert, and Lionel Atwill. Julien Duvivier directed the fictionalized biographical film about composer Johann Strauss. Toimi Kiviharju is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 16” x 23.5” and is in good to very good condition with moderate edge wear, some diagonal creases, two pinholes at the top from theatrical display, and minor surface wear. It has never been folded.
