Ben Hur (1959)

This is an original, rolled, Japanese B2 poster from 1968 for a Cinerama theatrical re-release of Ben-Hur. The 1959 classic film stars Charlton Heston, Jack Hawkins, Hugh Griffith and Haya Haraeet.  William Wyler directed the movie.

Ben Hur was theatrically re-released in Japan in September of 1968.  The Theater Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan was equipped with an original, Cinerama screen and this poster was used to promote that special, Cinerama presentation of the film. 

The poster measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" and is in very good condition with minor creasing along the left edge and a few, tiny creases at the top of the poster from previous handling. A Cinerama snipe (sticker) was placed on the top-right of the poster.  It has never been folded.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
