This is an original, linen-backed, Australian daybill theatrical movie poster from 1975 for the initial release of Chinatown starring Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway, John Huston, John Hillerman, Perry Lopez and Burt Young. Roman Polanski directed the film. Richard Amsel is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 13.5" x 30" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with minimal edge and fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are less prominent after restoration.
