Some Like It Hot (1959)

This is an original, window card theatrical movie poster from 1959 for Some Like It Hot starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, George Raft, Pat O'Brien, and Joe E. Brown. Billy Wilder directed the classic crime comedy.

The poster measures 14" x 22" and has been paperbacked (attached to a thin, acid-free paper backing) for long-term preservation, restoration and stability.  Prior to backing, the poster was in very good condition.  It had once been attached to a larger board for theatrical display and had wear and some moisture damage along parts of the bottom edge.  The poster had never been folded and is now in excellent, restored condition.  To protect the poster from damage, it will need to be shipped flat.  

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.

This extremely rare and collectible poster, printed in 1959 to promote the initial, theatrical release of Some Like It Hot, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
