Speed Maniac (1919)

This is an original, one-sheet movie poster from 1919 for The Speed Maniac starring Tom Mix, Eva Novak, Charles K. French, Hayward Mack, Lee Shumway, Georgie Stone, and Buck Jones. Edward Le Saint directed the silent, car racing western. The Speed Maniac is a "lost" film meaning there are no known prints in existence.

The poster measures 28” x 41.5” (it has not been trimmed) and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in very good condition some wear around the edges and some tiny bits of paper loss on some of the folds. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
