This is an original, rolled, Belgian movie poster from 1980 for the World War II comedy 1941 starring Tim Matheson, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Ned Beatty, Robert Stack, Slim Pickens, Lorraine Gary and Nancy Allen. Steven Spielberg directed the film. David McMacken is the artist for the poster.
The David McMacken artwork for this poster is slightly different from his artwork used in 1941 posters from around the world. Most posters with this artwork have an image of Dan Aykroyd in the lower-left corner. This Belgian poster features a racier image of a naked woman holding onto a submarine periscope.
The panel poster measures 14.25" x 21.25" and is in very good condition with minor edge and surface creasing from storage. It has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
